About Dayton
SCORE
The Dayton Chapter of SCORE was
founded in 1970 as non-profit volunteer organization to assist the small
business administration in helping the grass roots businesses to start and grow
in the Dayton
area. We are one of 389 chapters nationwide. Because of financial support from
local community organizations and businesses we are able to offer our services
and products at no charge to the public. The Dayton chapter has experienced business
counselors who volunteer their experience and knowledge helping small business
owners and potential small business owners achieve success. Our business
counselors are dedicated to providing our clients the best possible service.
Face-to-face or online, the counselors of Dayton
SCORE are able and willing to aid in the start up and problems
of small businesses. Monthly seminars are also offered at local libraries on a
variety of business topics to help our clients plan and improve
performance.
Our mission is
to provide professional counseling, training, mentoring and education resources
to emerging and existing small businesses in the Dayton metro are that will enhance their
success and improve their operational efficiency.
